At Crayon, I spearheaded the development of a groundbreaking 0-to1 GenAI product for Crayon, a leading provider of AI-powered sales intelligence solutions. This project, a collaboration with Gong, harnessed the power of Large Language Models (LLMs) to revolutionize competitive intelligence (CI) for B2B SaaS companies. As the project lead, I played a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life from market and customer research, prompt experimentation and data strategy, user experience design and GTM.

Challenge

Crayon, a leading provider of AI-powered sales competitive intelligence solutions, identified a critical challenge for B2B SaaS companies: extracting valuable competitive insights from Gong call conversations and other third party rich data sources like Slack, Salesforce, Hubspot and more. Manually analyzing these data sources is time-consuming and resource-intensive for Competitive Intelligence (CI) professionals. Additionally, sellers need this information quickly to tailor their sales strategies and win more deals.

Solution

Crayon partnered with Ashley Nader and her Hyperleap program to develop a groundbreaking GenAI product specifically designed to address this challenge. The Hyperleap team, led by Ashley's expertise, worked closely with Crayon to define the product vision and leverage the power of Generative AI (GenAI) technology to bring this solution to life.

Impact

  • Automated Competitive Insights: With the technological advancements in LLM’s, we were able to develop a prompting strategy that automates the extraction of key competitive intelligence from Gong call conversations. This includes identifying competitor mentions, pricing strategies, product differentiators, and customer pain points.

  • Improved Workflow Efficiency: CI professionals can now spend less time manually analyzing calls and more time providing strategic insights to sales teams.

  • Empowered Sellers: Sellers receive relevant competitive intelligence in a timely manner, enabling them to tailor their sales pitches and address customer concerns more effectively.
